CTR es una entidad deportiva privada de carácter social, que fue constituida el 22 de noviembre de 1965, cuyo objeto social es el fomento, desarrollo y la práctica continuada de la actividad física y deportiva. Además del tennis, como actividad deportiva, se deben destacar, la práctica del pádel, frontón, fútbol sala, baloncesto y natación.
